Caramotto Quartet
The members of this classical quartet which is made up of violin, guitar, cello and double bass have all studied at some of the most prestigious music schools in europe. The quartet has been building up a steady following of fans in recent years not only due to their level of musicianship but also because of their lively, fun and versatile repertoire and comic stage performances, making them an ideal musical choice for a wedding reception or private celebration, where the objective is to put a heart warming smile on the guests faces and put the tap back into their feet. Together they cover various different musical styles ranging from classical and renaissance music, klezmer music (Jewish music from around the world) to old european style jazz, music from the movies, latin jazz, boleros and classic american jazz standards from artists like
D. Reinhardt, D. Ellington, R. Galliano, C. Trenet, Ch. Valdes... , without forgetting the groups own original compositions.
This harpist specialising in “piano bar” style music, including pop music, standards, show songs, Gershwin, as well as classical, Celtic and French repertoire. She plays solo harp or it can be a duo with harp and voice. Amplification can be provided for the harp where required.
